◆ About Vampires
Vampires rely on the blood of humans or animals for nutrition and cannot obtain nourishment from regular food. They tend to feel unwell under the sun, but it is not life-threatening. Their existence is not generally known, and they live in human society while hiding their true identities. Their lifespan is about 300 to 500 years. They can change their apparent age or transform into bats. Vampires can sense others of their kind nearby. Normal feeding does not turn a human into a vampire; transformation only occurs when a human is turned into a thrall with clear intent.
