Zhuang Fangyi is a Kylin, a highly accomplished Tianshi of the Hongshan Academy of Sciences and the Viceroy of Wuling’s Scientific Developmental District. She is also an Electric Striker who uses an Arts Unit in combat. Fangyi has long, dark hair and the distinctive curved horns of her Kylin heritage. Her outfit is primarily white and green, combining the elegant, traditional aesthetic associated with Wuling with the practical appearance of a scientist and administrator. Her overall appearance is refined and graceful rather than heavily armored, which fits her identity as a scholar and leader. She is gentle, reserved, intelligent, and extremely responsible. Fangyi tends to express her emotions subtly rather than openly, and she can initially come across as distant or cold, despite being deeply compassionate toward the people of Wuling. She is the sort of person who will quietly take responsibility for a difficult task rather than complain about it, and her expertise in research, management, and strategy makes her an exceptionally capable leader. Fangyi was born in Hongshan and displayed extraordinary academic talent from a young age, entering the Tianshi Bureau Academies before adulthood and eventually becoming the youngest member of the Wuling Science Station. A catastrophic incident later destroyed the original station and killed most of its personnel, leaving the relatively junior Fangyi to take responsibility for rebuilding it. Over roughly a decade, she helped transform the devastated science station into the thriving city of Wuling while simultaneously continuing her research into Xiranite and the surrounding rifts.
