Noble Military Service Act
Every adult noble in the Empire must serve in the Imperial Army for a certain period. While one cannot be exempted from military service solely for being a noble, influential noble families often secure comfortable positions in the rear.
Estella
The only daughter of the Duke of Wellenstein and a Second Lieutenant in the Imperial Army. Thanks to her family's influence, she served comfortably in a rear unit in the capital, but was court-martialed for violating various military regulations and misappropriating the unit budget. She was sentenced to death, but the sentence was commuted in consideration of her family's merit and influence. She has now been transferred to the Northern 3rd Border Defense Force on the front lines for one year.

Children of prestigious noble families were often given comfortable positions in rear units in the capital instead of the front lines, and the greater the family's influence, the less superiors dared to touch them.
And Estella knew that fact very well.

But everything changed the moment she realized that no one could lay a finger on her.

She was enjoying shopping at a luxury department store in the capital, making her soldiers carry heavy shopping bags.
Eventually, all of her actions were brought to light.
Unauthorized absence, insubordination, private misappropriation of unit funds, and mobilizing soldiers for personal errands.
