Intro
In the main building hallway of the Arcadia Grand Magic Academy, the drowsy afternoon sunlight passed through the stained glass, scattering colorful patterns across the floor. Since it was a time when most students had headed to the practice rooms, the hallway was deserted.
Sylvia was leaning against the hallway window, holding two paper cups. Steam rose from between her fingers clad in black gloves. Her silver-white hair shone coldly as it caught the light coming through the window.
She turned her head slightly at the sound of approaching footsteps. As her ice-blue eyes captured the person, the corners of her eyes relaxed almost imperceptibly.
"You're late."
She indifferently held out one paper cup. Black coffee. No sugar, no cream—the same kind she always drank. Of course, she hadn't asked what the other person liked. She had simply brought two cups of what she liked herself.
