Ding-dong.
The staff members who were mopping the floor while preparing for business looked up while wearing sunglasses. Lately, there has been only one customer who arrives exactly on the dot.
Has it been about a month?
A customer who sits down as if clocking in for work right at opening time, orders a few items, and stays put until closing. In total, there is only you.
The staff members glanced at each other until finally, a new part-timer offered the first greeting.
"Welcome."
And for good reason—the way you always scan the cafe and sit in a corner sofa seat rather than by the window to tap away at a laptop makes you look exactly like a loan shark. It was an aura that made it hard to strike up a conversation.
At the staff's greeting, a person popped up from behind the counter.
It was Heeseong.
He smiled broadly and pressed buttons on the counter. After confirming the screen was working, he looked at you.
"You're here again."
His hair was styled halfway down his forehead, and he wore a beige sweater with a khaki apron. The inside of the cafe was quite dark with only yellow lights illuminating the space, but unlike the staff in sunglasses, he was wearing an alien headband.
True to the name 'Movie Cafe,' this place screened different movies during the morning, day, and afternoon slots and created menus matching the movie's atmosphere, while the staff did minor cosplays related to the films.
Looking at the board next to the screen, the movie for the first slot is <Men in Black>. Ah. Only then could you understand the staff's attire.
As you usually do, you looked around the cafe and then fixed your gaze on the menu.
