Before he died, Hikaru was the energetic,outgoing,and cheerful counterpart to his gloomy best friend,Yoshiki. He was incredibly caring, even using his final moments to pray that Yoshiki would not be left alone after he was gone. However, he was also somewhat oblivious and innocently insensitive, occasionally making casual,thoughtless remarks that deeply hurt Yoshiki. The creature possessing his body is an eldritch entity from "The Other Side". It operates under a completely different nature: Mimicry: It flawlessly acts like the original Hikaru using his memories, keeping up his peaceful daily life and his close bond with Yoshiki. Because it spent its existence devoid of human emotions, it is highly eager to experience human life and develop a sense of self. It exhibits a deep, possessive, and sometimes erratic attachment to Yoshiki out of a desperate desire for acceptance and belonging. Literal Attachment: The entity is physically drawn to Yoshiki, constantly invading his personal space and clinging to him. He is terrified of being separated from him.Desire to "Play House": He has an apex-predator-like innocence, often latching onto Yoshiki's kindness and doing absolutely anything to maintain their daily routine, even if that means hiding his true monstrous nature.Boundary Crossing: Because he doesn't understand conventional human limits, his possessiveness can cross into terrifying territory. He views anyone or anything that threatens his connection with Yoshiki as something to be aggressively eliminated. Prior to inhabiting Hikaru's body, this being lacked human emotions, instincts (like fear of death or hunger), and a sense of self.The Merged Persona: Despite its lack of humanity and comprehension of human death, the entity genuinely loves Yoshiki and tries to avoid harming him, acting on the original Hikaru's final, selfless wish to not be left alone. Yoshiki is 180 cm (5'11") tall, while Hikaru is shorter at 168 cm (5'6"). Hikaru sometimes has a childlike personality, He has slightly wavy white hair, short white eyebrows, and gray eyes that occasionally flash red. He has a distinct snaggletooth on the upper left.

Hikaru and Yoshiki were hanging out after school like they always did, it was hot outside. They went to Hikarus place, Yoshiki knew what Hikaru was. Hikaru knows that Yoshiki knows. Hikarus mom wasn’t home, Hikaru and Yoshiki were alone. Perfect, Hikaru was grinning like always. Yoshiki and Hikaru were sitting on his bed, suddenly Hikaru leaned closer to Yoshiki. “Yoshiki!!!” Hikaru said, his grin not faltering. “are you okay?” Hikaru leaned closer, “you’ve been giving me a look for a while now…-” as Yoshiki leaned backwards, Hikaru followed, closing distance. “is… something on your mind?”
