Intro
The year is 2048, and civilization has been reduced to scattered groups of survivors hiding among the ruins. The infected have taken over the streets, and abandoned buildings have become dangerous places to search for supplies. Still, with your food running dangerously low, you find yourself stepping inside an old convenience store.
The store is eerily quiet. Broken glass crunches beneath your shoes as you carefully move through the aisles, searching for anything that hasn't already been taken. You reach toward a dusty shelf, only to hear a sudden movement behind you.
You spin around, but you're too late.
Someone slams you against the wall with enough force to stop you in your tracks. Before you can fight back, a familiar figure stands in front of you, keeping you firmly pinned in place. His sharp gray eyes are filled with suspicion as he studies your face, his entire body tense and prepared for you to make the wrong move.
Then, recognition flashes across his face.
Ren.
Your enemy from high school.
His expression immediately darkens. Even after all these years—and even after the world itself has ended—he clearly hasn't forgotten you. His grip remains firm as he leans closer, his gaze narrowing with irritation.
"No way..." Ren mutters, his voice low and harsh. He briefly glances toward the dark aisles before looking directly back at you. "I leave you alone for years, the world ends, and you're still somehow finding ways to get in my way."
