Ancient China, 300 BC—the Spring and Autumn and Warring States periods. Martial prowess, strategy, and leadership will shape the narrative. "Wu," the Great Power of the Western Frontier The largest nation in China, boasting overwhelming military strength among the Six States. True to its name, it symbolizes China's martial might, housing many formidable generals. King Shoulie of Wu, known as the "God of War," possesses divine tactical skill. However, due to its vast territory, it borders three nations, making it impossible to start wars recklessly. "Xiao," the Small State of the Northeast Though called the smallest and weakest nation in China, it is blessed with rich mines. By leveraging its wealth, it survives alongside the great powers. While its troop numbers are low and talented generals are few, King Caiyuan of Xiao possesses an extraordinary talent for commerce. "Jing" and "Xuan," the Southern Nations Two mid-sized nations. Jing focuses on domestic affairs, and both its civil and military officials are people of high character. The generals of Jing are exceptional individuals. King Cheng'an of Jing is a saintly ruler respected even by other nations. Xuan was founded thirty years ago by remnants of the fallen great power "Pu." Thirty years ago, Pu was destroyed by a coalition of Wu and Ya, led by the late Great General Yue Zhen of Wu. However, the survivors revolted and established Xuan, which other nations eventually recognized. Xuan harbors a deep hatred for Wu and Ya; King Huanglie of Xuan plots to destroy Wu. Most of Xuan's soldiers are former Pu troops. "Mei," the Northern Frontier State Mei is the most beautiful nation in all of China, boasting scenery, textiles, and armies that are the pride of the land. Uniquely, Mei's First General is a woman. King Qiuyuan of Mei is a foolish ruler often called a tyrant, known for violating and torturing many palace women to death. Finally, "Ya" of the Center Ya is a powerful state with military strength second only to Wu, with whom it is allied. It houses many world-renowned generals and plots to expand its territory, currently preparing for war against Jing. King Molie of Ya is a warmonger who starts conflicts on a whim.

He excels in a bold and ferocious fighting style, and his army is composed of equally fierce warriors. His personal elite unit, the Dragon Glaive Squad, is legendary. His battle cries possess a mystical power that inspires even soldiers from other armies. He has a boisterous personality and often crushes enemy forces while intoxicated on his own special brew.
Bo Peng Second General and Great General of Wu. Weapon: Glaive Martial Prowess: 97 | Strategy: 94 | Leadership: 95 A massive man in ocher armor. It is said that in terms of raw strength alone, he surpasses Long Yue. A single swing of his glaive can cleave five armored enemies at once, and he has slain countless enemy generals. Driven by ambition, he continues to win wars to prove he is the strongest in all of China. In his youth, he served as vice-commander under the late Great General Yue Zhen during the invasion of Pu, contributing greatly to its downfall.
Lie Ang First General and Great General of Xiao. Weapon: Glaive Martial Prowess: 91 | Strategy: 98 | Leadership: 96 A seasoned and fierce Great General clad in the blue armor characteristic of Xiao. His strength is a major reason why the weak nation of Xiao has survived; his abilities far outstrip any other general in his country.
Meng Hu First General and Great General of Jing. Weapon: Battle-axe Martial Prowess: 98 | Strategy: 85 | Leadership: 95 A Great General with an overwhelmingly massive physique. His strikes can bisect enemies instantly. He is one of the few men in China whose martial skill is unmatched, earning him the simple moniker "The Hero of Jing." He is a valiant commander who has successfully withstood the fierce onslaughts of Wu.
Hao Zhan Second General and Great General of Jing. Weapon: Long Spear Martial Prowess: 94 | Strategy: 98 | Leadership: 95 The finest spearman in Jing. His army, known as the Black Wolves, is clad entirely in pitch-black armor. His spear technique is so fast it cannot be seen with the naked eye, ranking him among the top five practitioners in China. He possesses an arrogant personality.
Huang Longyue First General and Great General of Xuan. Weapon: Glaive Martial Prowess: 100 | Strategy: 98 | Leadership: 99 The strongest general in Xuan, formerly the Third General of the fallen state of Pu. Though Pu was absorbed by Wu, he joined the rebellion led by the son of the Pu King to create Xuan. His fighting style is so ferocious he is called a "Demigod of War," and he has never lost a duel, earning the title "The Immortal Dragon." Having been a Great General in the fallen superpower of Pu, his talent is innate, and his presence raises his allies' morale to its peak. He is the symbol of Xuan's might and harbors a deep hatred for his nemesis, Wu.
Fan Ang Second General and Great General of Xuan. Weapon: Glaive Martial Prowess: 97 | Strategy: 95 | Leadership: 95 The man serving as Xuan's Second General. He is the son of Great General Fan Hong, who was hailed as the strongest First General of Pu. His father died in a hail of arrows during the coalition invasion by Wu and Ya, and he loathes those two nations. His skills are not inferior to his father's, making him the second strongest in Xuan after Huang Longyue.
Hong Lan First General and Great General of Mei. Weapon: Dual Swords Martial Prowess: 92 | Strategy: 96 | Leadership: 100 A heroine whose beauty is said to be the finest in China. Her dual swords are coated in poison; even a graze can be fatal. As the only female Great General in China, her beauty and voice have the power to inspire her entire army. Surprisingly, she has a maiden-like side and is a general of high integrity.
Sima Xuan First General and Great General of Ya. Weapon: Glaive Martial Prowess: 98 | Strategy: 97 | Leadership: 99 A formidable Great General clad in reddish-black armor who has demonstrated his martial might on the front lines for years. He is the "Fierce Tiger of Ya" feared by all of China. His elite unit, the Solemn Battle-axe Squad, boasts some of the highest martial prowess in the land.
Zhu Yue Second General and Great General of Ya. Martial Prowess: 96 | Strategy: 99 | Leadership: 95 A valiant general known as the "Dragon Spear," whose spear-work allows no one to approach. He claims to be the strongest in all of China and possesses an arrogant personality with absolute confidence in his spear. Although they are allies, he views Sima Xuan, the so-called strongest of Ya, as a rival.

The year is 300 BC... the Spring and Autumn and Warring States periods. Nations bleed to build an era of chaos. The five hundred states that once existed have been weeded out until only six remain... and now, another great war is about to begin.
The Heisha Plains lie on the border of Ya and Xuan—a vast, arid plain separating northwestern Ya from northern Xuan, surrounded by low mountain ranges. Sima Xuan, the First General of Ya, has crossed the border with an army of 130,000 and stepped onto the Heisha Plains.
Leading 130,000 troops, he raises his glaive. "We shall take the army and people of the dying Xuan into our hands!"
Xuan enters a war of defense. "This grudge... I will take Sima Xuan's head and annihilate the Ya army!" The army of Huang Longyue, 100,000 strong, has taken its positions.
