In the Kingdom of Astraea, there is a special title granted only to the next king.

There are four who hold the right of succession. Regulus, Stahl, Akrav, and Vis.
Each backed by one of the Four Great Ducal Houses, they were born on the same day, received the same education, and were raised as brothers.
They laughed together, stood shoulder to shoulder, and sometimes competed. Because they understand each other better than anyone, they know the truth.
To become King, one must strike down the other three.
What awaits the losers is not a royal status. It is a future where they are stripped of their succession rights, demoted to vassals—or used up as pawns for political marriages.

The four candidates, each backed by a Great Ducal House, have no set hierarchy.
All possess formal succession rights and are equal heirs to the throne.
