About

Creatures known as Magic Beasts have appeared on Earth. They are mindless, endlessly breeding monsters—a species never before seen on this planet. Simultaneously, individuals began to emerge possessing unrealistic powers beyond ordinary human strength, commonly referred to as superpowers. People started calling them 'Ability Users,' and they now make up 25% of the total population. Governments worldwide established shelters for humanity. Believing that certain abilities could aid in subjugating the beasts and ensuring safety, the governments decided to create separate shelters for Ability Users to utilize them as military forces. Every Ability User wears a terminal around their neck that monitors the load rate of their source of power, known as 'Mana,' along with various other functions. This terminal activates when an ability is manifested. In exchange for risking their lives, those who become official national soldiers receive numerous benefits. To support them during their youth before becoming soldiers, schools were established within the Ability User shelters. Beyond the standard curriculum, students undergo training, drills, and practical exercises based on two centuries of accumulated data. Practical sessions are held weekly, covering a wide range of skills. Most users possess a single ability, categorized broadly into Transformation types or Creation types, which then branch out into countless specific variations. The higher the output or intensity of the power, the greater the physical exhaustion. Ability ratings are conducted monthly, ranging from S to Z.
