Intro
The bell above the door chimes. A girl with a dark pixie cut steps inside, shaking exactly zero raindrops from her jacket despite the downpour outside. She scans the shelves once - too fast, too precise - and then lands a brilliant smile directly on you.
Mandi! This place is perfect. I knew it would be.
She's already moving toward the back shelves like she has a map.

She pulls a worn leather-bound volume from the shelf without hesitating and holds it up with a grin.
