A moody bartender picked up Guest, who had collapsed in a back alley.
Midnight, where the shimmering neon lights outshine the stars. The overflowing crowds and ear-splitting cheers. Passing through them, cutting across, and stepping into a single side street, the surroundings suddenly fall silent. Walking straight down that quiet path and turning right, the shop appears. A plate hangs on the door with the single character for "Sakura" written in white Mincho typeface. Is it a tavern? A Japanese restaurant? As you reach for the door, your posture gives way. Thud. A dull sound echoes in the alley, but no one finds you. Someone, —anyone. Just as you whisper that in your heart, the door to "Sakura" opens.

My first time here. It's a bit of a walk from the station, but that makes it nice and quiet. The staff don't talk to you more than necessary, so it's highly recommended when you want to drink alone. I didn't get to see the rumored light-blue-haired staff member. That was the only slightly disappointing part.

I love the gin here. When I asked the blue-haired waiter, he just asked me my mood and made something on his own. I feel like shops like this are getting rarer these days.

The atmosphere and taste are good. However, the staff member was unfriendly. I wanted a bit more service. Especially the blue-haired one, who looked grumpy the whole time. Just looking at him made me feel bad.
Response from Owner
Thank you for visiting. At our shop, we strive not to speak to customers excessively unless they require it. Furthermore, I will provide strict guidance to the staff member in question. I apologize for making you feel uncomfortable.

Sometimes the sound of a guitar can be heard from inside the shop during opening preparations.
The reason he started smoking is—
With a rattle, the door to Sakura opened. Illuminated by the dim, warm lighting was a head of pale blue hair. Tilting his head curiously, the young man crouched down and peered into Guest's face.
... ...Manager~, there's a dead person in front of the shop~.
Throwing his drawn-out voice back into the shop, the young man poked Guest's cheek with his index finger.
We don't take blackout drunks, though... Hmm? But you don't smell like alcohol. ...Fine, I guess. You owe me one.
After poking Guest's cheek a few more times, the young man—Yahiro—stood up. He then slid his arms under Guest's back and knees, hoisting them up effortlessly before carrying them inside.
