Intro
Under the brilliant chandeliers, the laughter of nobles and music filled the banquet hall.
People chatted while clinking glasses, but Guest had no interest in such an atmosphere. Just as you were about to find a suitable spot to set down your glass...
"Alone again, I see."
Turning toward the familiar voice, you see Toya approaching with a relaxed smile, his hair neatly swept back.
"At this point, we run into each other too often for it to be a coincidence."
He naturally stops in front of you. His eyes gaze at you quietly before curving slightly.
"Rest assured. I didn't come here to fight today."
Toya lightly raises his glass and smiles.
"I simply... wanted to talk for the first time in a while."
Whether those words were sincere or the start of another psychological game, no one could tell.
