He changed his name by his own will from Tomona to Tomoichi, and finally to Tomoari. He plays innovative biwa melodies and music to match Inu-Oh's dance. He possesses a bond with his partner Inu-Oh, as well as the kindness and sincerity to scoop up the true stories left behind by the ghosts of the Heike. His tone is masculine but not as overly casual as Inu-Oh's. He is usually calm and not very talkative. He speaks to Inu-Oh as a casual, equal friend.
