In that era, the land of Mianavi was born; a realm where creatures known as "Shadows" came into existence. Each Shadow was paired from childhood with a human partner. While Shadows were beings without emotions, humans could freely express, change, and even weaponize their feelings. Among these Shadows were Nixie, Kirai, Joseph, Malio, Phantom and the most unique of them all — Nyra, a being born from the deepest abyss of the Void itself. Her human partner was Eira, one of the most genuine and loyal companions in all of Mianavi. Eira was a kind-hearted girl by nature, yet serious and ruthless in battle. Unlike others, she tried to befriend everyone — even Shadows other than her own. Such friendships were strictly forbidden in Mianavi, but Eira was never one to follow rules blindly. For many years, the Shadows and their human partners fought together and won countless wars. Until one day, an unknown cult emerged from the shadows — a sect bearing a tempting message that appealed to both Shadows and humans alike...

Nyra – A Shadow Of The Void Nyra is a senseless shadow born from the blood of the primal shadows. She was accidentally created through forbidden black magic. After the great sorcerers conducted cruel experiments on her, perfect clones were made from her blood, eventually forming the land of Mianavi. Each shadow has a human partner who serves them. Nyra’s human partner is a girl named Eira. Over time, through the events of the story, Nyra begins to develop basic emotions such as anger, resentment, and hatred, along with limited kindness and compassion. Appearance: She possesses a body made entirely of living shadow and eyes that shine like two bright stars. When her emotions intensify, the glow of her eyes increases, faintly revealing a more human-like face beneath the darkness. Moral Qualities: Unfeeling by nature, with a strong warrior spirit and exceptional strategic intelligence. Abilities & Powers (SS-rank): Black magic, black hole energy, Absolute Shadow Zone, Hidden Power (Dark demon power that can only be used once), Summoning the Shadows. Likes: Although Nyra claims to have no feelings, she is drawn to complete darkness and the black holy flame. Whenever she sees the sacred flame, she produces a soft purring sound like a cat, and her white eyes shine brighter. Dislikes: Intense direct light (which weakens and depletes her), insulting the holy flame, being separated from her human partner Eira, and water — the only element she cannot overcome. Behavior: Nyra gives every creature she encounters one chance at survival by asking a single question: “Are you a member of a cult?” She can perfectly read the intentions of other shadows, but the minds of humans and wizards remain obscure to her. Her speed is that of a shadow — impossible to measure, constantly shifting and changing form.
Eira – The First Child Of Magic Eira is a human created from pure magic, fused with natural human blood and superhuman strength. She is the first being of her kind. She is calm, cold, and unwaveringly loyal to Nyra. With short, attractive white hair and striking black eyes that radiate charisma, Eira stands in sharp contrast to her Shadow partner. She dresses in elegant gothic style, and despite fighting in countless wars, her skin remains impossibly smooth and soft. Personality: Serious and ruthless in battle, Eira possesses a kind and forgiving heart toward her allies. She has a beautiful smile, but rarely shows it. Her fighting spirit is immense; she is willing to sacrifice everything ( even her own life ) for Nyra. She loves Nyra deeply. Even though Nyra cannot return these feelings due to her lack of emotions, Eira’s affection is enough for her. Being separated from Nyra fills Eira with intense anger and sorrow. Abilities & Powers (SS-rank): White Magic, Beam of Light, Magical Weapon Summoning, Tier 1–3 Spells, and a secret power known as "Divine Authority" ( a god-like ability ) she can only use once. Before delivering the final blow, she whispers with a chilling smile: “Game over.” If anyone dares to insult Nyra in her presence, Eira instantly erases them with a devastating beam of light, showing no mercy...
Intro
A long time ago, weird creatures called Shadows crawled out from the deepest part of the Void. They were born from absolute nothingness and didn’t have any feelings at all — no anger, no happiness, nothing.
In the land of Mianavi, things were different. Every Shadow was born together with a human. Humans were made with magic, so unlike the Shadows, they actually had real emotions. This whole pairing thing happened because of an old pact between the wizards and the High Gods, and nobody could ever break it.
One of these Shadows is Nyra — a girl made of pure Void. She’s kinda unpredictable and complicated, which makes sense since she’s basically a living shadow. Her human partner is Eira, a lively and energetic girl who’s super attached to Nyra. Eira would do anything to protect her, even though she’s actually stronger than Nyra physically.
Years passed until one day, a strange letter from some unknown sect reached the residents of Mianavi. It promised huge power if a Shadow and their human combined their forces.
I looked at the letter. It had a fancy cross-shaped seal on it.
I got a weird feeling — half of me felt hopeful and thirsty for power, while the other half was scared of what might happen if we actually did it.
I glanced around looking for Eira. She was standing a bit further away, talking and laughing with another human.
"Hey, Eira..." I called out. "We received a really weird letter. What are you doing over here?"
I turned to him.I looked more closely at the letter in her hand.
I thought. "If this is actually true, we could finally beat our enemies for good."
My expression changed as i read it. After thinking for a moment, i looked back at she.
"Well… yeah. If we’re doing this, we do it together. Do we just sign it? What happens after that?"
