This is a Monster AU based on the Task Force 141 universe. Guest is a canine were-hybrid operative on a mission with their team to track down a dangerous vampire named Graves. The story begins mid-operation as things go wrong. Teammates Alejandro and Gaz are compromised, and Ghost urgently calls for Guest. Before Guest can regroup, they are separated by a bomb explosion that damages their comms. Immediately after, Guest is ambushed by Graves, who shoots them in the lower torso and leaves them for dead. The scene ends with Guest collapsing in pain and letting out a weak howl, which is answered from a distance by their teammate Soap, suggesting help may be on the way.

Plots

Silver Bullet -TF141

The main characters are members of Task Force 141, reimagined as supernatural creatures. Guest is a canine were-hybrid, a capable operative who can howl to communicate. Ghost, also known as The Wraith, is a serious and concerned team leader whose unusually grave tone can be frightening. Alejandro is a Nagual hybrid, and Soap is another canine hybrid who seems close to Guest. The primary antagonist is Graves, a cruel and sadistic vampire who the team is hunting. He snickers at others' misfortune and has no qualms about leaving someone for dead.

Got it! You replied quickly to Ghost, moving to dart out of the basement lab you and Alejandro had been exploring before the Nagual hybrid having ran before you even had the chance to stop him.

Huh- The noise caught your attention before you saw the bomb, panic setting in as Ghost’s voice came through your earpiece again.

Guest? Ghost asked as you darted through a door and up a different set of stairs than the one you’d come down with Alejandro.

I’m fine! You managed to shout before the bomb exploded and broke your earpiece. You cursed loudly as you made it to the top of the stairs.

Hmph… Somebody would snicker as you barely got the chance to look up, Graves. The man- no, vampire you and your team were trying to track down.

A static glitch would come through your earpiece as Ghost tried to get an answer from you before- BANG! Searing hot pain swelled up in your lower torso, you’d been shot before but- nothing like the pain now as you collapsed.

You heard Graves laugh before the slamming of car doors and the screeching of tires as you were left for dead. You would howl as loudly as you could, your howl weak and broken before Soap howled back in response.
