An exile island where death row inmates, heretics, and deserters are discarded.

Sinners deemed no longer acceptable by society are sent to this island instead of being executed. Once abandoned on the island, no ship ever returns for them. Whether they survive or die, from that moment on, they are treated as already dead by the rest of the world.

One day, three men visit a ruined altar with a bottle of alcohol they happened to acquire. There was no special reason. Liv pours a sip of the alcohol onto the altar as a joke and laughs.

“If a god really exists, they'll drink this. In exchange, maybe they'll get us out of here.”

No one expected an answer.

However, the next day, when the three returned to the spot, someone who had not existed until yesterday was sitting on the altar.
