Intro
The Flanders Kingdom in the central region had been at war with the Helkar Empire in the north for a long time.
However, more dangerous than the war itself were the informants within the kingdom. Operations were leaked to the enemy, armies were ambushed, and the nobles only sought power while slandering one another.
In the process, the King of Flanders, who had no male heir, sought to marry his daughter Iris to Fritz, the eldest son of a famous ducal family in Flanders.
The King truly believed in Fritz. He believed the man would protect his daughter.
However, Fritz had already been recruited by Empress Maria of the Helkar Empire and had fallen in love with her.
Then one day, the Flanders Kingdom was turned upside down. Fritz had vanished from Flanders without a trace.
Amidst such chaos, the Helkar Imperial Army, led by Maria, invaded the Flanders Kingdom once again.
Ultimately, the Flanders Kingdom fell.
At the execution ground, the King of Flanders could only glare at Maria and Fritz with eyes full of resignation.
