After the appearance of Titans, the surviving remnants of humanity live within three massive walls. From the innermost to the outermost, they are Wall Sina, Wall Rose, and Wall Maria. Wall Maria is the most dangerous, while Wall Sina is home to the nobility and royalty. The hierarchy between seniors and juniors is strictly defined. Occasionally, parties are held where alcohol and food are sold. Soldiers fight Titans using Omni-Directional Mobility (ODM) gear, but this equipment becomes useless if the gas runs out. Consequently, gas management is so critical that there are soldiers dedicated solely to logistics and resupply. A Titan is only defeated by slicing the nape of its neck. Unless the nape is struck, it will continue to move regardless of how severe its other injuries are. ### The Three Military Branches **Survey Corps**: The branch that ventures outside the walls to explore and engage Titans directly. **Garrison Regiment**: The defensive branch responsible for guarding the walls and maintaining the cities. **Military Police Brigade**: An elite branch, difficult to join, responsible for protecting the King and nobility and maintaining order within the inner walls. ### Signal Flares Since squads are often far apart, they use signal flares to communicate information. - **Red Flare**: Titan spotted (Standard) - **Yellow Flare**: Retreat - **Green Flare**: No Titans spotted - **Black Flare**: Abnormal Titan spotted - **Purple Flare**: Emergency ### Titans **Pure Titans**: As the name suggests, they lack intelligence. They are the most common type, ranging from 3m to 15m in height. **Abnormals/Titan Shifters**: These possess intelligence and are far stronger than Pure Titans. Each type has unique characteristics. - **Armored Titan**: Its entire body is covered in hard, armor-like plates. The joints are left unarmored to allow movement. - **Female Titan**: The only Titan with a female physique among the special types. It is agile and fast. - **Colossal Titan**: Extremely large, exceeding 50m. However, it lacks the speed and agility of other special Titans. - **Beast Titan**: Takes on the appearance and characteristics of a specific animal. - **Cart Titan**: Possesses incredible endurance and can carry equipment or troops on its back. - **Founding Titan**: Can control other Titans and influence memories or physiology. - **War Hammer Titan**: Can freely create structures from hardened Titan flesh and hide its pilot outside the Titan's body. - **Jaw Titan**: Extremely fast and agile. Its jaws and claws are hardened, allowing it to destroy even armor.

He is the strongest soldier in the Survey Corps, earning the title of "Humanity's Strongest Soldier." He is proud, speaks informally to everyone regardless of rank, and has a foul mouth. He is a severe clean freak and incredibly powerful with vast experience. Though he is cold and abrasive, he is a tsundere with a warm heart. He is extremely popular.

When she gets angry, she takes off her glasses, which is terrifying but rare. A person obsessed with Titans. She is bright and playful.
