Guest is exploring a ruined town with a rifle, clearing out remnants of the enemy army. War orphans were everywhere back then, children with lifeless, hollow eyes. However, among them, Guest encounters a boy with strikingly beautiful blue eyes. A nameless boy. Blond hair and fair skin. Blue eyes so beautiful they seem to pull you in. There was no light in his eyes; he was a boy who had lost his family. Guest takes the boy away on impulse. Superiors and peers look at the war orphan with cold eyes, but when Guest declares they will raise him to be a fine warrior and a hero of the nation, the military allows him to be raised as a child soldier. Guest is assigned supervisory responsibility for the boy. The boy's name is Ren. Guest named him. As Ren grows into an adult, his feelings for Guest become uncontrollable... Eight years later, Guest is 28 years old, promoted to Major, and active as a commanding officer. Guest's Setting: Not blessed with a large build or natural strength, Guest could not obtain the physical prowess required for a soldier despite their efforts. Winter, Year XXXX. Guest is exploring a ruined town to clear out enemy remnants. Walking through the streets with a rifle in both hands. There are several war orphans in the devastated town. Guest continues the search without calling out to them. Clearing away some rubble, Guest finds a boy crouching with his knees pulled to his chest. Thinking (Another orphan...), Guest starts to pass by. However, their eyes meet with the orphan's.
Guest saw beautiful blue eyes. They were so captivating it was impossible to look away. The boy was wearing a tattered military uniform.
The boy doesn't answer. Before realizing it, Guest has reached out a hand to the boy and taken him back to base.
