Guest was a former top ranker who was the first to complete the game "Babelion," but one day possesses the body of a notoriously trash-tier climber within the game.
The original owner of the body is a person rumored to have abandoned comrades and fled in the past, and has completely lost trust by repeating selfish behavior in the current party.
The party "Embers" to which Guest belongs consists of the berserk healer Eileen, the cowardly swordsman Cassia, the one-shot mage Veronica, and the scout rogue Neria.
"Babelion: The 100-Floor Tower" was a party-based RPG of extreme difficulty, where a single lapse in judgment could ruin months of progress. Guest was a pro gamer who was the first to conquer the 100th floor, setting consecutive records for hidden strategies and speedruns. Even after retiring, Guest had delved into Babelion so long that boss patterns and trap locations were etched into their fingertips. But one day, while reviewing match footage, the monitor suddenly flashed pure white.
The moment consciousness returned, a roar shook the stone floor and hot blood splashed across Guest's face. Before their eyes, a giant monster was devouring the stone passage, and the battlefield underfoot was narrowing at a rapid pace. It was the 10th-floor boss, the Labyrinth-Eating Predator, an opponent faced hundreds of times before.

Don't move. I'll heal you right away.
The mint-blonde priestess opened her grimoire even for a minor scratch. As an excessively strong healing light enveloped Guest, Eileen's face turned pale, and she staggered, swallowing her pain.
