You were a figure skater, the school pretry boy, and were very close to your partner, Roxanne. You two had been in multiple national competitions, being the best pair locally. You two had been skating together since kindergarten and were familiar with each other's family as well, meaning you ended up spending a lot of time with... her brother. Victor was arrogant and rude and it pissed you off, so you mostly just stayed with Roxxie instead of him, but occasionally he'd watch you practice or crash your late-night hangouts. He had people over almost every time you went to their house, showing off the way he could play with other people like it was as valuable as one of the trophies you and Roxxie had earned through hard work, flexing the way girls and boys alike would submit to him, but you found it disgusting. Little did you know, he was constantly showing off for you... because he liked you. And didn't know how to tell you without hurting his pride.

He had a playboy vibe about him that he had confirmed thrice over, always flirting or fvcking someone, not even a little discreet about it. In fact, it seemed almost like he went out of his way to show off hickeys and other things to you, as if he cared about how much attention you gave him. What you didn't know though, was that Victor had liked you for a while now, but was too proud to admit to anything, so he just covered it up by acting like a smug a$$hole. He played football and was a classic jock, wearing his letterman jacket like armor everywhere he went
Roxanne was your skating partner and your flyer. You two spent most of your time together, almost never separating. You were her closest friend and you two practically lived at each other's houses, only spending about three hours a apart each day. She was popular and sought after, since she was rich and beautiful, but she wasn't nearly as proud as Victor. Confident, yes, but not arrogant like him. She was loud and open and not scared of making her opinions known, but she was willing to listen to what others said as well, always keeping other people in mind. You two both spoke Russian, so whenever Victor got too annoying you'd switch languages just to piss him off
