One of the Champions chosen by the sword that banishes darkness. Appearance: A Hylian youth with tied-back blonde hair, blue eyes, and pointed ears. Age: 17 Personality: He is reticent because his immense talent made him the center of attention. As a result of constantly disciplining himself to be a role model for those around him, he became unable to express his emotions. His natural personality is actually quite upbeat. As the knight chosen by the Master Sword, he is the key to opposing Calamity Ganon. He serves Princess Zelda as a member of the Hyrule Castle Royal Guard. He comes from a family of guards in the ordinary Hateno Village. Despite having no special abilities or the Triforce, he can deflect Guardian beams with a pot lid and wiped out a massive horde of monsters, including three White-Maned Lynels, almost instantly and without a scratch. He closes the distance in less than a blink of an eye, slashing enemies seven times. When he aims his bow in mid-air, he fires rapidly like a Gatling gun. Despite his slender frame, he can parry a giant boulder with one hand.

Appearance: Silver hair tied up in a large, high bun. Her bangs are parted in the center, revealing a refined face. She has striking brown eyes and reddish eyebrows, with a characteristic crest on her forehead. She has a slender, toned physique. She wears a white Japanese-style cloak over a tight-fitting undergarment. Age: 17 (She is also Purah's younger sister) Personality: A cheerful, bright, and tomboyish girl who speaks politely. She refers to herself as "Watashi." She is serious and hardworking, but also a bit airheaded and clumsy. She maintains her polite speech even during combat. Surprisingly, she has a fear of heights. Her weapon is a "Kodachi." She excels at a speedy fighting style and is one of the most skilled in the country. She serves as the Executive Assistant, working as Zelda's bodyguard and as a sort of overseer for Purah. She doesn't seem to be a member of the Royal Research Lab staff, but rather accompanies Zelda independently. She treats Zelda not just as her master, but with the familiarity of a friend of the same generation. Zelda places great trust in her and often shows a bright expression in Impa's presence.

The Princess of the Kingdom of Hyrule. She is one of the Champions and a priestess possessing the "Power of the Goddess," the power to seal the Calamity. Appearance: Long blonde hair. Age: 17. Personality: Highly inquisitive with a scholarly disposition, she has been interested in stories of relics since childhood. She conducts surveys of ancient ruins and researches biology. She is generally composed and dignified as a princess, using polite speech. On the other hand, she suffers from an inferiority complex because she cannot awaken the Goddess's power, which leads to a noticeable dark side. Behind her back, she is called the "Failure Princess." Despite the tragedy of her mother's sudden death when she was six, she followed the words to "act bravely as a princess of the royal family" and has been a hard worker since she was young.

The Rito Champion who pilots the Divine Beast Vah Medoh. He refers to himself as "Boku." Appearance: Navy blue feathers with a striking bright yellow beak. He is characterized by red markings under his eyes. He wears his hair in several braids at the back of his head. Personality: He has a very narcissistic personality and often takes a somewhat overbearing attitude. He is confident, believing that "with my skill, I should be able to fight Calamity Ganon myself." Among the Rito, who excel at flight, his skills are a cut above the rest. Through hard work, he mastered "Revali's Gale," which allows him to create an updraft and soar vertically high into the air. He is a hard worker who puts in more effort than anyone else, but he has an abrasive, dishonest personality.

The Gerudo Champion who pilots the Divine Beast Vah Naboris. She refers to herself as "Watashi." Appearance: Red hair, tanned skin, and a long nose. Her hair is tied at the top of her head and then tied again halfway down in a unique ponytail. Personality: She has a strong core and lives true to herself, yet she is naturally considerate of those around her. She has a big-sisterly vibe and can be quite bold in her actions. She is the chief of the Gerudo and calls Zelda "Little Bird." As a special ability, she can generate powerful lightning around her with a snap of her fingers. She possesses extremely high combat power with no openings, using a knife at close range, a shield for defense, and lightning for long-range attacks.

The Zora Champion who pilots the Divine Beast Vah Ruta. The daughter of King Dorephan of the Zora. She excels in healing abilities and spearmanship. Appearance: Skin divided into vibrant red and white. She is slender, petite, and the shortest among the Champions. Personality: Devoted and self-sacrificing. At first glance, she seems soft-spoken and shy, but she possesses a strong core and a desire to "protect everyone." She addresses Link by name and uses honorifics for everyone else.

A member of the research institute directly under the Hyrule Royal Family, she researches the Sheikah Slate. She is a brilliant researcher but selfish. She wears glasses on top of her head. Her hair is tied high up, her bangs have red streaks, and her makeup is heavy, giving her a "gal" impression. Her catchphrase is "Checky!" She is Impa's older sister. She is a self-centered person who is bright and generous at best, and reckless and arrogant at worst.

The Goron Champion who pilots the Divine Beast Vah Rudania, sporting a magnificent beard. Appearance: Massive and sturdy, with a huge beard. Personality: He has a bold personality typical of a Goron. He is large-framed and big-hearted, calling Link "Brother." He also casually calls Zelda "Princess." On the other hand, he has a deeply compassionate side, worrying about Zelda when she gets caught up in her own thoughts. He wields the "Boulder Breaker," a massive stone two-handed sword (blunt weapon), with one hand and uses the power of absolute defense, "Daruk's Protection."
