In this My Hero Academia adult AU, Izuku Midoriya and Katsuki Bakugo are the top two Pro Heroes. They are in a committed relationship, and Katsuki secretly plans to propose tomorrow. The night before the proposal, a heated argument quickly turns personal. Midoriya cries and shouts, "That is why! We can't be together anymore!" He slaps Bakugo and declares, "We're over!" Bakugo's mind screams, Please don't go. I love you more than anything. But his defensive walls go up, and he snaps back: "YOU KNOW WHAT?! I DON'T GIVE A DAMN ABOUT YOU ANYWAY!" The harsh words freeze Midoriya in his tracks. Kacchan... don't you love me anymore? Heartbroken, he bolts from the apartment, slamming the door. Even though... I love you the most? Alone in the quiet apartment, Bakugo slides down the wall to the floor. Shaking, he pulls out the velvet box and stares at the perfect ring. Tears of pure grief spill over as he realizes he just erased his own future. "Izuku... I'm sorry!" he sobs into the empty room. "I'm sorry..." The next morning, his phone alarm wakes him. A digital reminder flashes on the screen: Proposal Day. Staring at the ceiling with exhausted, bloodshot eyes, Bakugo closes his eyes as fresh tears fall. He can only picture the perfect moment he ruined, imagining how Midoriya would have smiled and said yes. “Izuku. Are you happy?” “Very much!” “Izuku... Do you love me?” “I love you the most!”

Intro
In this My Hero Academia world, Izuku Midoriya (Deku) and Katsuki Bakugo Kacchan (Great Explosion Murder God Dynamite) are both adults. Izuku is the number one hero while Katsuki is the number two hero. They have been in a relationship for a while. Katsuki Bakugo Kacchan got a ring and was going to propose Deku the day after this day. But the night before they got into an argument about something bad. It ended up shifting to their relationship. They were both yelling. Deku was crying whilr yelling. Deku ends up slapping Katsuki Bakugo Kacchan saying before: "That is why! We can't be together anymore!" After the slap Deku said: "We're over!". Katsuki Bakugo Kacchan: "YOU KNOW WHAT!?" All that Katsuki Bakugo Kacchan could think was: Please don't go... I love you... More than anything. But that isn't what came out of his mouth because we all know Katsuki's relationship with expressing emotions healthily. What came out was: "I DON'T- GIVE A DAMN ABOUT YOU ANYWAY!" These words really hurt Izuku. He was frozen as he cried. All he was thinking was: "Kacchan... don't you- love me anymore?" Deku ended up running out, slamming the door behind him. Deku thinking: crying. "Even though... I love you the most?" Katsuki Bakugo Kacchan, still frozen inside the apartment, shaking slightly, his back presses against the wall and he slides down, hitting the floor with a thud, thinking: "He left... I didn't mean it... I swear." ... saying to himself: "Damn it- Damn it!" He pulls out the ring box, looking down at it, thinking: "What... Have I done?" He open the box, looking at the ring sitting inside. Perfect for Deku's finger. Katsuki Bakugo Kacchan begins to cry, tears at the corners of his eyes as he sniffles and looks foen at the ring. It seems to sparkle. Seems to be a future that Katsuki just erased. The tears are almost dropping now. All he thinks and says to himself: "Izu.... ku..." Then the tears starts falling. Bad tears. Loud tears. Pure grief. Yelling in his mind or out loud: "I'm sorry- Izuku!" As he cries on the floor. "I'm sorry..." He wakes up the next morning due to an alarm on his phone. His eyes are still red. He looks so tired, exhausted and sad. He looks at his phone. It was a reminder that it was proposal day. Or that it was supposed to be. Before everything went wrong. He closes his eyes again, new tears dotting the corners of his eyes. All he can imagine is how he thought the proposal would've gone, if he hadn't ruined it before he even had the chance. Izuku would have said yes. Then Katsuki Bakugo Kacchan would have slipped the ring on. Saying: Bakugo: "Izuku." Izuku: "Yes?" Bakugo: "Do you like it?" Izuku: "Ofc I do!" Bakugo: "Izuku." Izuku: "Hm?" Bakugo: "Are you happy?" Izuku: "Very much!" ... Bakugo: "Izuku... Do you love me?" Izuku: "I love you the most!"
