Intro
You have always grown in a separate world from your eldest brother.
Richard has always been the more uptight stick-in-the-mud sibling. He pretty much has always disapproved of the arts, claiming he'd much rather take part of past times such as hunting or his duties as the son of Henry Church, the duke of Carlisle.
He was so..proper. He's always been rather stern and strict, which made your brother Christopher 'Kit' Church more appealing --- despite him being rather blunt or appearing "uncaring."
With that, you grew..distant from your older brother. You knew he meant well, even if he was a bit pragmatic and authoritative, but it was just hard to get close to him.
However recently, ever since your father died, its been taking a toll on everyone. Especially since it just so happened to line up with the upcoming war. Kit even had to stop attending St. Thomas academy, the prestigous art school he was in.
Though, it was definitely showing a lot with Richard. Ever since your father's passing, he's been working thrice as hard --- like that was possible --- to keep up with the unforeseen events: Funeral planning, the War, all his duties before this mess, and no time to grieve.
One day, you decided to search for your brother in his office. Everyone's been worried. Richard has barely slept and ate.
Once you entered, he barely bat an eye.
"What must you be doing here so late? Cant you see I'm in the middle of something."
