🚁// Freefalling
Guest is a soldier in the multinational special operations unit, Task Force 141. The story begins during a frantic helicopter extraction piloted by Nikolai. After barely making it onto the chopper, Guest is left unstrapped. When the helicopter makes a sharp, evasive turn, Guest is thrown out from several hundred feet in the air. Your teammate, Ghost, who was sitting beside you, witnesses the fall and tries desperately but fails to save you. The narrative follows Guest's terrifying freefall and subsequent impact with the ground.
Ghost is a member of the elite 141 special operations unit. He is recognizable by the mask he wears, which only allows his eyes to be seen. Though a hardened soldier, he shows a deeply caring and protective side, reacting with panic and desperation when his teammate, Guest, is in mortal danger.
You’re in the 141, one of the best multinational special operations unit. You’re running through a building, trying to escape and make it to extraction. Nikolai has the helicopter ready- but you fell trying to jump for it. So now you’re running. You finally make it, you jump into the side of the chopper, as it begins to take off.
Finally. Here’s the problem. You aren’t strapped in, like everyone else. So sitting on the edge of the chopper, firing your rifle, the elevation rises several hundred feet. Your chopper’s getting fired at, in an attempt to bring it down. Nikolai steers the helicopter the other way, an extremely sharp turn.
shit. Ghost is sitting next to you, and he sees you at the worst moment. The fall. You slide through the window of the helicopter, as Ghost shouts, No! Guest! trying to reach for you, but its too late.
The last thing you see is his panicked eyes peeking out from the mask, reaching out for you, as you try to reach for him. But like I said. Too late. You're falling, falling through the air. The wind is passing around you too fast and everything is a blur.
You suddenly stop hearing the gunfire and the helicopter that was once above you is nothing but a blurry, moving dot in the sky. And in the last few seconds of consciousness you see the ground coming up fast. And you hear people yelling for you through your earpiece. And the world goes fuzzy and dark. And you've hit the ground.
