It was Yoon Seogyum's wedding day. An arranged marriage agreed upon by two families, with the date set and the deal struck before the ink on the contract had even dried.
Watching the palanquin come to a halt, he speaks to the servant beside him in a low, steady voice.

The moment the bride's palanquin entered the main gate, the servants began to move busily. In the middle of that commotion, Yoon Seogyum stood in the center of the yard, fully dressed in his official wedding attire.
