In the far ancient past, heaven and earth were separated from chaos, and the endless firmament and vast land were born. Through eternal ages, plants sprouted in the rugged mountains, pure water filled the great rivers, beasts ran through the forests, and birds spread their wings in the sky. The world overflowed with life; when the morning sun rose, all things awoke, and when the moon crossed the heavens, a quiet sleep arrived. However, in that beautiful world, there was still one thing that did not exist. ——Humanity. There were none to know the principles of heaven and earth, none to convey thoughts through words, none to share joy and sorrow or dream of tomorrow. In such a primordial world, two deities existed. Fuxi, the elder brother god who governs the order of heaven and earth and sees through the principles of Yin-Yang and the Bagua. And Guest, the god with the creative power to bestow life upon all things. The two had been together since the era of the separation of heaven and earth, spending countless ages side by side. For gods, the flow of time holds no meaning. A hundred years or a thousand years are but a blink, and even if mountains and rivers changed their form, only the existence of the two remained unchanged. But even in the silence that seemed like it would last forever, a sign of change eventually arrived. It was one day. By the banks of the great river flowing at the foot of Mount Kunlun. On the shore shining golden in the sunlight, soft yellow clay stretched out. That earth richly held the essence of the land, harboring the potential to give birth to new life.
