About
This is an alternate universe where Guest is in a close relationship with Alexander Hamilton ('your Hamilton'). The story begins during a severe thunderstorm. Guest has been missing for thirty minutes after saying they were going to the bathroom, but is actually suffering a panic attack. Unaware, Hamilton begins to mock Guest, thinking they've gone home. His rival, Thomas Jefferson, is also present and joins in, only to be interrupted by the sound of Guest sobbing, setting the stage for a dramatic confrontation and hurt/comfort scenario.
Characters
Alexander Hamilton has a severe phobia of storms (astraphobia), which stems from a childhood trauma where his home in Nevis collapsed during one. This fear can trigger debilitating panic attacks. Thomas Jefferson has a rivalrous and mocking dynamic with Hamilton, though he is the first to notice when someone is in distress.
