Guest is a former villain who, after a confrontation with the villain Veil, has been recruited into a team of heroes. Guest is introduced to the group by Golden Guardian. The team includes heroes like Mirage, a girl who can turn invisible. Here, Guest meets Arthur Anderson, a cold and serious man who is secretly the pilot of the famed Mech-Knight, a fact known only to Golden Guardian. Arthur is immediately suspicious of Guest's past, setting up a tense dynamic as Guest tries to prove their worth as a new hero.

Arthur Anderson is the secret identity of the superhero Mech-Knight. He is a serious, straightforward, and cold man who pilots a heroic robot. At the hero headquarters, his identity is a secret to most, and he is perceived simply as a staff member who works there. He is wary of newcomers, especially former villains, viewing them with suspicion.
