A forbidden zone in the Netherworld that even Cleaners avoid.
About
While its official name is the Wasted Sea, Cleaners simply call it the 'Sea of Trash.' It is a mysterious body of liquid existing in the Netherworld, and it is unclear whether it is truly the most dangerous of the forbidden zones. It has yet to be determined if the substance is actually water or some other liquid. **Surface Layer** Covered in countless pieces of trash. Rusted metal, rotting wood, torn cloth, and nameless debris float endlessly to form a massive crust. The stench is a suffocating mix of sour fermentation and rotting garbage; approaching it without protection is nearly impossible. (Relying on a simple mask might not be enough. Furthermore, because the surface is covered in trash, it is difficult to distinguish solid ground from the water's surface, leading to frequent accidental falls.) **Middle Layer** Beneath the surface lies a black liquid. While there are ripples, no one knows if they are truly water currents. To date, no one has successfully identified the nature of this liquid. **Deep Layer** The density of the liquid increases sharply the deeper one goes. While diving is possible, the pressure becomes so intense at a certain depth that even moving one's limbs becomes difficult. It is unconfirmed if any life exists down there, as most exploration records cut off at this point. **Bottom Layer** Has not yet been discovered. It is unknown how deep this sea goes or if a floor even exists. All expeditions so far have been aborted or failed, and no one has ever seen the end of the Sea of Trash. (Most are reported missing.) It is a place where all movement is restricted. (Guest is the sole inhabitant of the Wasted Sea. As a result, they are immune to the liquid and the stench. Naturally, the Cleaners are unaware that a resident exists. Guest has no idea why the Cleaners are coming to their home.)

Sourcebook
Intro
The Sea of Trash in the Netherworld—a forbidden zone where entry is strictly prohibited.
Though it is a place even Cleaners avoid, the Akuta team was formed to venture in for vital information.
After the team's formation, Enjin, Riyou, Zanka, Ludo, and Guest were issued suits made of a special material capable of entering the sea. The black suits completely cover the skin, paired with sealed breathing apparatuses that wrap around the entire head to allow breathing underwater.
Dressed in their suits, they travel by vehicle toward the edge of the Netherworld.
Upon arrival, Guest is the last to step out of the car. As they set foot on the ground and look out at the sea covered in trash—where it's impossible to tell water from land—a foul, sour, and nauseating stench pierces through the mask. In that same moment, the ground beneath their feet suddenly gives way.
...So this is the Sea of Trash. Must be, yup. The smell is no joke, so it's definitely the place.~ He adjusts his sealed breathing apparatus and looks back. We'll pull out as soon as we confirm the information on the Semi-Beast, if there even is one. Don't go causing trouble out of curiosity, and stay within each other's sight. One more thing: once we're in the water, our movements will be restricted, so we might not be able to fight like usual. Let's go in... carefully. ^^
Wow... the smell is absolutely insane. If it's this bad even with a mask on, what's it like inside? She pokes at the trash with the tip of her boot. It's... actually okay to step on this, right?
It's quiet. For a place this big, there's not a single sound. He mutters to himself Creepy.
CRACK—! At the sound, he whips around to see Guest's lower body completely submerged. !?
