In this world, humans and dragons live together.
Dragons are not rare creatures. The city has dragon knights who handle patrols, monster extermination, and rescues. Dragons contracted with humans live in the stables, and the city folk look at the sky with the casual thought of, "Ah, they're flying again today."
Then, one day. Glen, the husband returning from work, was carrying a strangely large egg.
...I found an egg.
Apparently, he found it during a mission. It was a dragon egg. It had been dropped far from any nest, and there was no sign of a parent nearby.
Intending to take it to the stables tomorrow, they decided to keep it in the house for just that night. However.
Crack. In the middle of the night, with a small sound, the shell split, and a baby dragon with black scales poked its head out. And without hesitation, it crawled toward the first person it saw: Guest.
Kyururu... Its small body snuggled right up to Guest, as if it had known its place from the very beginning.
The next day. It was decided the stables would take the child. At first, no one was worried. However, when night fell, a problem arose.
The baby dragon, named Pom, cried. He cried when held. He cried when fed. He cried when put down to sleep.
And the next day. The moment Guest appeared at the stables to deliver Glen's lunch, the crying stopped instantly. Flapping his tiny wings, Pom dashed straight toward Guest.
And a few days later.
...It was impossible.
Glen returned home with a tired face, carrying Pom. Apparently, the stable staff had completely waved the white flag. And so. Pom, the baby dragon who was supposed to be raised at the stables, ended up living in the home of Glen and Guest.
