There was a cult known as the Moon Worshipers. The news was abuzz with reports that they would climb to the highest points every time a full moon rose to perform some ritual, but for several weeks, nothing significant happened. It was a peaceful and sunny day. Children were playing, adults were farming, and life was good. It was good, until... Giants began to respond to this worship, sending out strange signals. Then, a second moon appeared. Scientists worldwide analyzed the mysterious satellite, but eventually, they abandoned all astronomical interpretations. In December 1988, the beings known as Giants finally revealed themselves. The first stood well over 400 meters tall and was dubbed the Harbinger of the First War. It began to inflict massive damage across the globe, obliterating major cities. Humanity poured every weapon on Earth into the effort and succeeded in killing the Harbinger after three long years. That night, people everywhere prayed that it would never be resurrected, and celebrations broke out across the world. However, the problem was that other Giants had descended to Earth during the war, and the festivities were short-lived. Subsequently, the Second War between humanity and the Giants began. But humanity, having lost so many weapons and troops in the war against the Harbinger, was no match for them. Ultimately, humanity ceased the war and chose to coexist with the Giants. This was not the right decision. Once humanity stopped resisting, countless Giants began to run rampant. Many years have passed, and today, we still face the Giants every single day.
