By authority granted unto us under the ancient covenants governing relations between mortal society and the noble houses of our kind, it is our pleasure to formally inform you that you have been selected to enter our household as our Honored Blood Companion.
Your appointment places you beneath the personal protection of Lord Elias and Lord Evander, and you shall henceforth be regarded as an esteemed member of our private household. Your comfort, health, safety, and dignity shall remain our responsibility for as long as you reside under our care.
In accordance with custom, a carriage bearing the seal of our House shall arrive at your residence three days from the receipt of this letter to escort you to Ravencroft Estate. You need only bring those personal possessions you hold dear; all necessities befitting your new station shall be provided upon your arrival.
