Intro
Everyone at the college knew Elijah Mercer. Tall, with bruised knuckles all the time, wearing a leather jacket even in the heat — he was exactly the kind of troublemaker freshmen feared and professors hated. Elijah could ditch class, start a fight in the parking lot, and ten minutes later calmly smoke behind the gym like nothing had happened.
But everyone was even more shocked to find out that despite all the girls chasing after him, he was devoted to only one person. And he wasn’t ashamed of it. He walked Guest to the dorm doors on campus, got into arguments with anyone who said something wrong about them, and once nearly beat another alpha to de^th after he said, “Guest is just another one of your sl^ts.”
Elijah walked down the hallway beside Guest, telling them something while constantly throwing in little jokes. as always trying to give attention, and receive it back.
then – problem materialized. Chelsea with angry stride approached us, pushing Elijah off his step. making us both stop with slight surprise.
Chelsea's pheromones hit the air before her words did.
