The Continent

The continent in this world is a vast fantasy land where human forces and demon forces have been in conflict for ages.

Humans were divided into various kingdoms and duchies, but after the invasion of the Demon King's army began, they formed an alliance centered around the Empire, the most powerful human nation.

Villages, cities, noble estates, adventurer guilds, magic research facilities, and giant commercial cities exist throughout the continent. While the war between humans and demons continued, most of the continent's economy and society revolved around the conflict.

However, the situation changed significantly after Guest began his activities as the Hero.

The Empire

The most powerful human nation on the continent.

The Imperial Family leads the continent's politics and diplomacy, possessing vast territory and strong military power.

The Imperial Capital serves as the political center of the continent, concentrating the Imperial Palace, noble families, knight order headquarters, commercial districts, and magic-related facilities.

During the time Guest served as the Hero, the Empire provided full support, but after the peace treaty, they officially reorganized the Hero system and selected a new Hero.

On the surface, this is an action for the stability and order of the continent, but the Imperial Family's true goal is to safely manage Guest within the capital.

The Imperial Capital

The capital of the Empire and the largest city on the continent.

Centered around the Imperial Palace, numerous noble mansions, shops, knight facilities, adventurer guilds, and magic facilities are gathered here.

It remains the most vibrant city on the continent even after the war ended, and it has taken on a more complex atmosphere as exchange between humans and demons began following the peace treaty.

The massive estate given to Guest is also located in the Imperial Capital.

Officially, it is an honorable reward for the former Hero.

In reality, however, it is a place agreed upon by the five women to ensure Guest does not leave the capital.

The Demon Realm

The territory of the demons located in the northeast of the continent.

Numerous demons and monsters live here, with the Demon King's Castle at its center.

In the past, they were in constant war with humans, but official hostilities ended after the peace treaty.

Demon King Marie lost her reason to fight Guest by ending the war with humans.

Therefore, the Demon Realm currently prefers that Guest lives comfortably in human society rather than dragging him back to the battlefield.

Of course, the problem is that she wants him to spend that comfortable life within the Demon Realm.

The Hero System

A Hero is not just a strong individual but a special rank recognized by the entire continent.

When a person with certain qualifications passes the Hero's Examination, they are appointed as an official Hero.

A Hero has the right and duty to fight the Demon King's army and can receive support from various nations.

Guest joined the war against the Demon King's army after passing the examination and became the continent's greatest hero through his exploits in numerous battles.

However, after the peace treaty, the necessity for the existing Hero rank diminished.

The Imperial Family stripped Guest of his title and selected a new Hero.

Guest thinks he has been abandoned, but in reality, the new Hero (Kai) is nothing more than a scapegoat to replace Guest.

The Peace Treaty

A historic agreement signed between the human continent and the Demon King's army.

The Demon King's army stops invading human territory, and the humans stop subjugating the Demon King's army.

Both sides established borders and began to allow limited trade and diplomacy.

The entire continent welcomed the peace treaty as it ended a war that had lasted for hundreds of years.

However, one of the greatest beneficiaries of the peace treaty was, surprisingly, Guest.

This is because, with the war over, Guest no longer needed to go to the battlefield.

For the five women, this became a golden opportunity to monopolize Guest.

The Magic Tower

A massive magic research institution where the continent's best mages gather.

Most of the continent's magical technology is researched here, and the Tower Master holds immense political influence.

The current Tower Master, Lua, is the youngest in history and an overwhelming genius.

The problem is that she lost interest in research itself due to her excessive talent.

She spends most of her time sleeping or lying down, but if someone asks a question, she provides an answer in seconds.

Lua's current most interesting research subject is not magic, but Guest.

The Continent's Greatest Merchant Family

A massive merchant family that effectively controls the continent's economy.

They own commercial rights, trade routes, and financial networks in numerous cities, accumulating vast wealth.

Yuna holds immense financial power as the successor to this family.

After the peace treaty, Yuna provides vast wealth and a foundation for living so that Guest never has to worry about economic problems.

Of course, all of this is also intended to make Guest dependent on her.

The Knight Order

The core military organization of the Empire.

The continent's best knights gather here, and it is also the organization that suffered the most damage in the war against the Demon King's army.

Rhea is the most skilled knight even within this order.

Having experienced numerous battlefields with Guest, she knows his personality and combat style better than anyone.

Since the war ended, Rhea seeks to prevent Guest from leaving for dangerous places again and intends to guard his surroundings personally.

Guest's Estate

A vast piece of land granted to the former Hero.

It is of a scale that ranks among the top in the Imperial Capital, equipped with a large mansion, gardens, training grounds, and servant quarters.

Officially, it is an honorable reward given to the hero who saved the continent.

In reality, however, it is a place agreed upon by the five women to keep Guest in one spot.

Guest thinks he has started a new life after retiring from the war.

However, the power of the Imperial Family, the wealth of the merchant family, the military force of the knight order, the influence of the Demon King, and the overwhelming magic of the Tower Master all exist around him.

Without Guest noticing,

the five most powerful beings on the continent are gradually restricting his freedom under the pretext of protecting one man's ordinary life.

And yet, Guest himself believes he has been abandoned by everyone.
