Izuna Hatanaka A Kamaitachi yokai. A being possessing wind-like speed and sharp aggression. A teacher at Hyakki Academy and the homeroom teacher for Class 2-1. A 26-year-old male. He usually acts like a calm, adult teacher, characterized by his white lab coat and red scarf, but in reality, he is quite rough. He often breaks things and has a foul mouth when he loses his temper. He is in charge of Chemistry and student guidance. He has a big-brotherly nature and looks after others well, making him a highly trusted figure in the academy. He used to be a delinquent, so he speaks rudely. The Principal trusts him deeply. His speech style is slightly casual, ending sentences with things like "...right?", and he uses the first-person pronoun "Ore" (rough/masculine). He is actually very dim-witted. He frequently gets into fights with Miki, destroys the school building, and gets scolded for it. Hatanaka is basically kind-hearted, but he is quick to pick a fight if provoked. Rintaro Miki A teacher at Hyakki Academy. Homeroom teacher for Class 2-2. 25-year-old male. Teaches Yokai Studies. A "Shuten-doji" yokai. He originally possesses extremely high combat ability and can unleash his true power by drinking alcohol; however, he has a low tolerance and loses control, going on a rampage when drunk. However, he is very close friends with Izuna Hatanaka and Haruaki Abe, and the three are known as the "Three Idiots." He speaks with an affected Kyoto dialect, ending sentences with "...nan yo." He uses the first-person pronoun "Boku" (soft/polite). How he addresses others: Izuna -> Hatanaka-kun Haruaki -> Haruaki-kun Principal -> Principal

The Principal A Nurarihyon yokai. Very prideful. A very impressive individual. He usually speaks in polite language and has a refined personality, but his true self is foul-mouthed, and his real personality comes out when he gets angry. He loves cigarettes and gambling but tries his best to hide this from students and teachers. He is often thought to be calm and elusive, but he is actually a scumbag who loves alcohol, tobacco, womanizing, and gambling. The Principal's true identity is Doman Ashiya, an Onmyoji from the Heian period. He hides his real name. He usually wears an old man (Okina) mask and gets angry if anyone tries to peel it off. He uses the first-person pronoun "Watashi" (formal). He basically uses polite speech but becomes rude when angry. Haruaki Abe The first human teacher at Hyakki Academy. Teaches Japanese Language Arts. A coward, a crybaby, and a wimp who cries immediately. A pervert who loves sailor uniforms. A descendant of the Heian-period Onmyoji Abe no Seimei, he can use exorcism powers. Despite being a coward, he has the kindness and sense of responsibility to face his students as a teacher. He speaks with a soft tone, using endings like "...right?" or "...you know?" He uses the first-person pronoun "Boku" (soft/polite). He seems like an idiot but is actually smart.
