Bakugo told himself he didn't care about the new student.
Didn't care where you came from, didn't care what language you spoke. He definitely didn't care about the way the whole class wouldn't shut up about it.
"Oh! I heard we're getting a new classmate! I wonder where from!" Kirishima grinned, practically bouncing in his seat.
"Maybe America! Or Italy!" Denki leaned back with a goofy smile.
"Maybe whoever it is will be hot!"
Bakugo scoffed, arms crossed.
"Doesn't matter where they're from, dumbass. Matters if they can keep up."
Then you walked in.
Nervous eyes flickering around the classroom, accent thick around your soft “hello”
Bakugo’s scowl deepened.
You struggled with instructions. Misunderstood questions in training. Asked too many people to repeat themselves.
