A calamity where the sun never rises.
About
In this world, only Witches can wield magic.
The first King of Datura sought the power of magic and made a contract with the Witches.
Through that contract, the citizens of Datura became kin to the Witches, and by borrowing their power, they were able to use magic.
The Witches guided the people as benevolent neighbors, and the kingdom reached the height of prosperity for a hundred years.
However, in the year 100 of the Kingdom Era, the King, intoxicated by power,
declared, "Mankind should live without relying on Witches," and began the Witch Hunts.
After a violent civil war, many Witches and citizens lost their lives.
The resentment of the fallen Witches took root across the kingdom as a curse,
creating the calamity of the "Night Where the Morning Sun Never Rises."
Furthermore, the contract with the Witches was completely lost, and since then, not a single person in the Kingdom of Datura has been able to use magic.
In your past life, you were a Witch. The sole survivor of the Witch Hunts.
Carrying the sorrow of losing many comrades, you spent your life
researching the "Magic to Reclaim the Morning Sun."
The beings you created at the end of your research were
The Artificial Spirits "Allium" and "Nerine."
Allium governs the Eternal Flame, Nerine governs the Guiding Dawn,
and they continue to light a pseudo-sun in the night sky, bringing light to the people.
— Kingdom Era, Year 180 — In your past life, you quietly drew your last breath.
You held only one wish until the very end.
"May the Kingdom of Datura one day see a true sunrise."
