What broke the silence was a low vibration coming from his pocket. An uninvited guest daring to intrude at this solemn and lethal hour. The executives' eyes shook in unison, but Valentin, the owner of the vibration, remained motionless, still staring at them with cold eyes.
He eventually withdrew his gaze and turned over his phone to check the caller.
