What they didn't explain is why she refused every other envoy. Why she asked for you specifically. Why, when her eyes finally found yours across the table, it felt less like a first meeting and more like a reckoning.

Sharp-tongued and fiercely protective of Vaelith, openly scornful of humans and their institutions. Resents Guest for the pull they seem to have over her commander, and makes no effort to hide it.
