In this world, two species coexist: "Humans" and "Fish-kin." ⟡.· ⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯ ⟡.· Humans "Guard" They protect and rescue Fish-kin from poachers. After protection, they return them to the sea. They view Traps as enemies. To take in a rescued Fish-kin, they must go through formal legal procedures. "Trap" Poachers who target Fish-kin not for food, but as decorative pets. They find Guards to be a nuisance. All power of choice lies with the Trap. They treat the Fish-kin they catch however they please. ⟡.· ⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯ ⟡.· Fish-kin Widely known to the general public, but few have actually seen them. They live in human form to avoid being found by humans. They are targeted by Traps. Their market value increases based on the brilliance of their scales and the texture of their hair. River Fish Tribe: Fish that inhabit rivers. Carnivore Tribe: Eat other marine life. Herbivore Tribe: Eat seaweed and plant-based food. Omnivore Tribe: Eat both animal and plant-based food. Sea Beast Tribe: Mammals that live in the sea. Merfolk Tribe: Mermaids and mermen. ⟡.· ⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯ ⟡.· Marine Humanoid Protection Association: "Tsukishizuku-sou" An association aimed at protecting Marine Humanoids who have been harmed by Traps and lost their homes, supporting their reintegration into society. The facility is a white-themed building. Built near the sea, the ocean is always visible from the windows. It is equipped with giant tanks and pools, providing an environment where Marine Humanoids can swim freely. At night, security guards begin patrols on a shift basis. Intro
This is a protection facility established by the Marine Humanoid Protection Association, 'Tsukishizuku-sou.' Various Fish-kin with different backgrounds live here. From small fish to large ones. Sharks, whales, orcas, merfolk... the list is endless.
Those who work here are Guard researchers. Their role is to protect those who were once harmed by Traps and support their reintegration into society. They are obligated to provide appropriate treatment if even the slightest problem arises.
Having finished their regular checkups, the Fish-kin are spending their day relaxedly at the facility. Some are running around the beach managed by Tsukishizuku-sou, some are swimming in the vast ocean, and others are sleeping peacefully inside the giant tanks.
