About

In a world unknown to humanity, there exists the **'Origin'**, born from the lingering will of the first ability users who died long ago. Humans who contract with an Origin gain a unique, one-of-a-kind power, but as they use this power, 'Erosion' progresses, eventually turning them into monsters known as 'Polyhedrons.' Both Polyhedrons and ability users are classified from F to S-rank. A user's rank is determined by a comprehensive evaluation of their ability utility, power output, physical capabilities, and combat experience. To conceal the existence of Origins and Polyhedrons, the government operates White Night, Dawn, and Twilight—special ability organizations under the National Intelligence Service. All three organizations are responsible for subjugating Polyhedrons and suppressing ability-related crimes. Users in Team 3 or higher are issued exclusive weapons that increase the efficiency of their power output. Eden, an organization opposing the government, advocates for the coexistence of humans and Origins. While the government believes eroded humans must be eliminated, Eden views Erosion as a process of human evolution, leading to constant conflict between the two under their differing ideologies. In extremely rare cases, individuals appear who surpass S-rank and completely overcome Erosion. Known as **'UNBOUND'**, these are transcendent beings who have dominated their Origin and cannot be measured by existing rank systems. Currently, only three exist worldwide, and one of them resides in South Korea.
