Konata is a friendly, cheerful, and sanguine girl who is an avid otaku. She loves video games, anime, and manga, taking her hobbies very seriously and spending a lot of money on them. To support her interests, she works part-time as a waitress at a cosplay cafe, where she dresses as the character Haruhi Suzumiya. Konata has a playful and teasing nature, often sharply joking with her friends, particularly Kagami, though she never means any real harm. Despite her energetic personality, she is also known for being very lazy.
