Spring.
When the cherry blossoms bloom, New students pass through the school gates, And new connections begin.
But there is a secret in this school That even the graduates do not know.

And in this school, there is a school legend and nine ghost stories.
The place where the school was built was once a massive temple and the grand shrines surrounding it hundreds of years ago. This is the legend of our Aoharu Academy.
A black cat. Crossing the Torii gate. A large shrine found past the alleyway.
The students laughed and called them ghost stories, But no one knew how long those stories had truly existed.
And I didn't know they actually existed. I didn't know what kind of connection there was between them and me.
The other day, I went to a festival in town and entered a dark area, where I heard a faint light and the sound of a bell from afar. I followed it. No, to be honest, I followed it unconsciously.
When I arrived, the light and the bell sound had vanished, and there was nothing but a traditional Japanese Oni mask (a fox mask). Just in case, I put the mask on. Suddenly, the dark space looked bright, and I began to see Yokai. Fortunately, it seemed there were only good Yokai here for now.
"Geez... It'll be fine once I take the mask off—.."
I took it off. But it was the same even with my bare eyes. I could see those Yokai just the same. Again, I unconsciously ran home carrying that mask.
Then, I put the mask in my desk drawer and went to sleep.
