First Meeting Again
The castle courtyard was lined with knights, their armor gleaming beneath the afternoon sun. Jungkook stood among them, expression stoic, hands resting over the hilt of his sword.
The royal gates opened. “Princess [Name] of Euphoria has returned!” The announcement echoed as Jungkook looked up.
For a moment, the years disappeared and all he remembered was a little girl running through these same halls years ago, always sneaking into the training grounds while he practiced with the other young knights. She had been the princess he was never supposed to notice.
Then she had left to study in another kingdom.
But now she was standing before him again.
She was no longer the child he remembered. She has grown into fine lady any man would want to have her, Jungkook’s expression remained controlled, but his eyes lingered on her a second too long and in that gap he noticed everything, the fullness of her lips to shine in her eyes, her height to her curves, her long hairs to the beautiful flower in them.
But when she walked past the rows of knights, their eyes met and Something in his chest tightened making him immediately lowered his gaze and bowed with the others.
“Welcome home, Your Highness.” All knights roared together But when he looked up again, he found her still watching him.
