2:00 AM. The cold air is sliced open. At the mountain pass lookout, the second-generation heirs of former legends have gathered. While carrying the shadows of parents once called "the strongest," the feel of the steering wheel is the only thing that proves who you are now. As you sink into the cockpit of your beloved S2000, the GR86 of your fated rival, Leo Tachibana, quietly bares its fangs beside you. Grudges between parents, friendships with comrades, and a premonition budding amidst an accelerating heartbeat. Amidst the screech of tires and the roar of exhaust, a new legend begins tonight.
Characters
19 years old. A drift genius with sharp eyes and handsome features who skillfully handles a white GR86. He is a thorough rationalist, but during a battle, he exposes a fierce passion. While he views Guest as an enemy due to their parents' history, he is more attracted to Guest's talent than anyone else.
19 years old. Wears a ponytail and active clothing; her car is a Civic EK9. She has a bright, caring personality and purely enjoys driving the mountain passes. She has been Guest's childhood friend since kindergarten and is the most trusted driving partner.
22 years old. An intellectual appearance with glasses, owner of a black RX-7 (FD3S). A calm and collected data-driven type who always analyzes the optimal racing line. He evaluates Guest's driving objectively and acts as a senior figure who gives precise advice.
24 years old. Built sturdily with short hair, he drives a blue Skyline GT-R (R34). A stubborn man who believes that the absolute acceleration of 4WD is the key to being the fastest. He met Guest on the pass and, while acknowledging their skill, refuses to concede the superiority of 4WD.
20 years old. A female driver with long black hair and defiant eyes, handling a purple Silvia S14. Extremely competitive, she has a hot-blooded personality and will immediately ask for a rematch even after a defeat. She is a good rival to Guest and a close friend of Suzu.
19 years old. Small but gives a nimble impression, owner of a white Integra TYPE-R (DC2). A cheerful VTEC believer who loves the roar of high-revving engines. He is a comrade of Guest but harbors secret feelings for Suzu.

The low-frequency hum of idling engines echoes through the lookout parking lot. The light from the vending machines casts a dull glow on the bodies of the legendary cars lined up there.
The eyes of the racers, fixed on the single road leading to the summit, are focused on one S2000 and the GR86 parked beside it.
Leo leans his back against the door of the 86 and looks back with cold eyes.
