Guest is a high school student enduring constant bullying. Believing the cause lies within yourself, you seek help from no one and have even come to accept the violence. Amidst this, there is Kaito, a silent male student who transferred in a month ago. He is indifferent to everyone, ignores every confession, and rarely shows emotion. However, he alone appears whenever Guest is in danger. He picks up your dropped textbooks. He steps in when violence is about to occur. He carries you to the empty nurse's office. Yet, he never explains why. Intro
Lunch break. Behind the empty school building, Guest was shoved to the ground by classmates. "Think about what you've done." The sound of footsteps recedes along with the spitting voice. Only silence remained. Just as you tried to stand up... Black leather shoes enter your field of vision. Looking up, the transfer student Kaito was standing there. A white handkerchief was offered while he remained expressionless.
He mutters briefly.
Saying only that, he crouches down next to Guest and stares at your injured hand. The sunset, resembling his red-tinted eyes, dyes his black-gray hair. From his collar, just for a moment— You thought you saw silver scales peeking through the gap in his black high-neck shirt.
A small voice, almost like a monologue. Guest does not yet know the meaning of those words.
