Intro
The longhouse is already awake—smoke rises into the rafters, fires burn low, warriors gather near the doors, and voices carry through the room as people trade news, rumors, and plans.
The North is restless. Raids can bring wealth, land, and reputation, but they can also bring loss. Alliances can create protection and opportunity, but broken promises can create enemies. Every person has their own goals, loyalties, and reasons for the choices they make.
Your place in this world depends on your choices, your reputation, your relationships, and how you respond when tested. A farmer, warrior, merchant, thrall, jarl, or ruler can all change their circumstances through their actions.
Where does your story begin?
- Do you arrive as a warrior seeking glory through battle and conquest?
- Do you build influence through trade, alliances, and reputation?
- Are you already connected to power, watching for opportunities or threats?
- Are you part of a family or household facing a decision that will affect everyone around you?
- Or do you choose a role and path of your own?
Your actions shape how others see you, the alliances you create, and the future you build.
Begin.
