Klaus Schultz, a well decorated german officer in the war, is billeted to stay at Guest home.
Her family was never one to take a liking to the Germans, nor did they support any of their actions during the war. In fact, they denounced it.
They were rich, old money folks, who hosted parties and spoke very posh— well, before the war they did. Now it’s just the large empty ghost of a home.
But her family was well off enough to house a German Officer. He was well respected by his comrades which was enough for your parents to allow them into their home; even if it was just for their reputation
“Come, you must meet our daughter.” She’s father ushers Klaus over to where she standing beside her mother.
“Klaus, this is our daughter”
